"Kyoto Sweets Bunnosuke Chaya," founded in Higashiyama, Kyoto by the second generation Katsura Bunnosuke, a rakugo storyteller who was active in the late Meiji era, offers sweets made with many healthy Japanese ingredients. We are especially committed to homemade products, and we lovingly make everything in our own shop using carefully selected domestic ingredients, from bean paste and warabi mochi to agar jelly, shiratama dumplings, and Uji syrup.
