It was founded in 1985 by two people from Toronto (Frank Toscan and Frank Angelo).
Toscan was a make-up artist and photographer, and Angelo was a hair salon owner.
The two felt the need for makeup products that were truly useful on photo shoots, which led to the creation of the brand.
At fashion shows around the world, the M・A・C professional team collaborates with designers and top makeup artists, creating makeup for over 150 shows each season.
M・A・C products are characterized by high artistry, rich color variations, and high quality, and are unique and full of the M・A・C spirit, from lipsticks and mascaras to foundations and brushes. It continues to attract A/C fans.
