Respect for the Aged Day

September may be a month when there are many opportunities to give flowers.

There are actually many events that are perfect for giving flowers, such as the Double Ninth Festival that we introduced the other day and Respect for the Aged Day that we will introduce this time.

This year, Respect for the Aged Day , September 15th . (Mother's Day and Father's Day fall on the third Sunday, but Respect for the Aged Day falls on the third Monday!)

Respect for the Aged Day is a day to express gratitude to the elderly who have contributed to society for many years and to pray for their health and longevity.

If you live nearby, we recommend you drop by and take a gift of flowers.

We would like to introduce some special products that will be available in time for Respect for the Aged Day.

Gentians are autumn flowers that are always available in flower shops at this time of year.

Many of the flowers are blue, which is rare in nature, but they also come in purple, pink, and white.

The roots are also used in traditional Chinese medicine, and because they are an autumn flower and have been used as medicine, they have long been a popular gift for Respect for the Aged Day.

Next, we will introduce the banyan tree and the dracaena.

Both are also known as the "Tree of Happiness" or "Tree of Luck," and are popular ornamental plants for celebratory occasions other than Respect for the Aged Day.

These are products made with fresh flowers. Due to the lingering heat of summer, they don't last as long as gentians or ornamental plants, but they are characterized by the fact that you can choose the color and flower you like.

This year, we have prepared special ceramic tableware for gifts to give to those who are looking to give as Respect for the Aged Day gifts, so please let us know when you make your reservation or order. (The number of Respect for the Aged Day tableware is limited, so once the planned number is reached, we will make them in regular baskets.)
